DO IT YOURSELF

This must be the part you have been waiting for! It’s time to play with colours. Bright and beautiful colours. Remember the colour wheel? It comes in very handy here and should be consulted while formulating and while blending. The trickiest colour to blend would be the skin tone for foundation. As we all know there is a wide range of skin tones in humans and producing foundation to match each and every existing skin tone may not be feasible for any individual or commercial producer. Finding foundation with one’s matching skin tone may therefore be a very daunting task. How do you solve such a problem? By all means, make your own foundation! And while you’re at it make your own concealer, eye shadow, lip stick, etcetera, etcetera!

You would be mixing primary with primary colours and primary with secondary colours. You would also be tinting, shading and toning colours, as well as complementing colours. Here we go; let’s get colourful!
